I drive past Fowler Ridge (IN) every time I drive from Indy to Chicago. I-65 goes right through it. It is oddly beautiful, especially when the blades are all moving slowly. It also makes me smile because it is so forward looking, and gives me hope for the future.
This was cool. I always wondered how they worked. Being from California (originally) and traveling from Tucson to San Luis Obispo at least twice a year, I always marveled at the turbines in the desert.
