I kept saying to my screen, as though the cameraperson could hear me, “GET TO HIGHER GROUND!”
I mean, whoever was filming was right down at the bottom of those stairs that were later ripped off the building. My lord, it’s amazing footage but not worth risking his or her life…..
Very, very humbling.
When the buildings begin to slide off their foundations ones mind leaps from ‘this is disaster!’, to ‘this might be the end of the world.’ That was just something on an entirely different level.
