Yeah, I kept hearing that this was going to happen, but I just really didn’t think it would actually happen.
I tried to stick by you, Barry, but this is the last straw. We’re through. Biggest disappointment of my entire life.
Somehow I don’t think he’ll willingly step in front of a fast-moving freight train. Anything less would be unsatisfactory to Congressional Republicans.
And afterwards you scold the people who voted for you for preferring principles to the great results he’s gotten. I wrote Harkin and asked him to organize a filibuster to make sure the tax cuts expire. Not gonna happen : (
