  1. Makes perfect sense (from a standpoint of food preparation techniques), but what a bummer! I guess the answer is to make your own; to wash your veggies really well first, and don’t cross-contaminate your cutting surfaces. I’ll bet people don’t quit eating it in restaurants, though. I’m sure I won’t. Salsa and guacamole are worth the risk!
