Maybe the PAC-10 didn’t get the respect it deserves.
I’ll grant you that maybe Washington didn’t get the respect IT deserved.
Thanks for taking Alford off our hands. Even with Iowa’s dismal record people are stlll saying, “At least we don’t have to deal with Alford and his gangbanger thugs”
I guess we get a better brand of athlete here. We’ve had nothing but class acts these past few years under Alford.
Alford was too protective of Paul Pierce at Iowa, but a lot of that is hindsight.
Coach Alford’s two sons played for this year’s 5AAAAA state championship boys basketball team, La Cueva High School. They are just a junior and a freshman, so I’m hoping their careers keep him in Albuquerque and that he’s not off to Eugene or some place.
