I was wondering if anyone had the approval rating for the republican response to the Presidents speech? I found it almost laughable if not for the fact that it was sad and so delusional. Were they trying to reach out to their base or just to the lunatic fringe? Every time the American people have voted for a republican that promised “less government” the government was promptly doubled in size. We are not really that stupid to fall for that again, are we?
In 2004 “we” proved that we are stupid enough “to fall for that again.” Although I’m thrilled with the outcome of the 2008 elections, I’m still concerned that all the stupid folks (“sad and so delusional”) could band together and prove, one again, that, yes, we are “really that stupid.”
