but maybe, just maybe….
Wow. Just wow.
I was moved throughout the entire evening. I don’t remember watching the Democratic convention… maybe just snippets here and there but never the entire thing (now that Comcast has finally fixed our problem. Did you know you can watch it on demand? Cool.) until these last few days. I’ve been glued to CSPAN all day. Richardson did great and I loved that woman from Albuquerque! Even ol’ Al Gore did well and, geez, Obama really knocked it out of the park.
Poo on McCain for trying to leak his VP choice and create a distraction. As if…
Obama was firm, tough, soft, emotion and thought evoking.
So, yeah, “maybe, just maybe…”
I was there, after three and a half hours of waiting in a line that included multiple cross country climb down embankment elements, pedestrian travel across an open Interstate Highway exit ramp, evangelical preachers on bicycles with twenty foot high flags, and large squads of machine gun armed black clad police following protesters.
