They have also been instrumental in the BORDC (Bill of Rights Defense Committee) that has led 389 American communities and 7 states (thus far) to proclaim (through resolutions) their unwillingness to comply with parts of the Patriot Act that threaten the Bill of Rights and the Constitution.
