This fella appeared as if he wanted to cross the trail — see railing in lower right. He appeared to decide there was too much traffic and turned back.
When I see alligators, I wonder why people think all the dinosaurs are extinct. And I can’t help but think of the scene in Fantasia with the alligators dancing with the hippos. I’m glad you made it safely away – the only reason the gators didn’t eat you is they weren’t feeling hungry.
