One of the largest tragedies I’ve witnessed since I’ve lived here. I know there have been Oakland fires and earthquakes and many major tragedies here in the Bay Area, but that all pre-dated me.
I was able to see the flames from an overpass as far south as San Carlos. That’s how bad it was. (Google maps reports that to be about 12 miles)
