Yup, it’d be a damn shame

“A great number of major-league baseball teams have their spring training sites in Arizona. Most, if not all, of those teams have players of various Latino origin. This is also true of the Arizona Diamondbacks and the several minor-league teams that play their entire seasons there. Baseball has been very, very good to Arizona. Be a shame if something happened to change that.”

  1. i am putting on my car “go ahead make my day, stop me so I can sue you”. I will buy my food and gas before I go through az. I also am telling all my foreign friends not to go visit there esp. the grand canyon, etc.

  2. Those of us Arizonans who find this law absolutely apalling can’t blame you for feeling this way. I am constantly amazed by the crap that manages to get through here.

When I’m Empress, things will be very different.

  3. For what it’s worth, which isn’t much, the current governor wasn’t even elected.
I, for one, think it really s**ks that, when one person leaves office for whatever reason, they could be replaced with someone of the opposite party from the elected official who left. It seems like a total rip-off to the voters–especially in this instance. I’m regretting my return to Arizona more all the time.
