Am I missing something in the math here? I read the article, and it also said the markup is 80%…. but wouldn’t an 80% mark-up over a $10 value equal an $18 price tag? If it goes from a $10 value to a $250 price tag, isn’t that a 2500% mark-up? What am I misunderstanding here?
I believe what was intended is that the price is 80% markup, not that the markup is 80% as they (and I) said.
Oh, that makes more sense to me.
