  1. One of the things I miss most about being a reporter in Silver City is covering basketball games in Cliff. I’ve never felt so welcomed in my entire life. Coaches were always available via cell phone after a game, I got to know a bunch of the parents, and community support for the athletes was palpable. I miss the hour-long drive from Silver City out to Cliff and trying to find a parking spot for the game. I miss sitting under the basket, camera in hand, trying to catch the perfect shot of a perfect shot.

They take their basketball pretty serious down in Cliff.
