When making deviled eggs it is important to realize that the eggs may be wet on the plate. Accordingly, when turning to put the deviled eggs in the refrigerator, try not to turn too quickly. Otherwise, you may find that it is a slippery slope between a dozen deviled eggs and nine deviled eggs.

Five-second rule.
Been there, done that. A paper towel on the plate will mitigate that somewhat.
I’ve gotta believe that the 5-second rule doesn’t apply to the filling that spills out onto the floor. That is assuming that the law of open-face jelly sandwich applies to deviled eggs.
I am beginning to think that coffee is NOT your friend. It keeps attacking you in a variety of ways. just a thought.

I’m gonna get you one of those plates especially made for deviled eggs. They’re not foolproof, but they are a little more forgiving.
