  1. I actually had my students read this a few weeks ago. I teach a class full of boys who seem to growing up like Todd – basically good kids who get into just enough trouble so that when anything major happens, they are always suspects. I wanted them to understand this tragedy, and see what happens when people feel you’re automatically going to be guilty. But of course, this could have happened to anyone, with the flaws in the science that were exposed. Given this article, I think Texas may have executed an innocent man.
