Try texting and washing the dishes. Kerplunk.
I’m waiting for the iPhone to dry out before I find out what the next $tep is.
Just before it happened I thought to myself, this is stupid. (But for the record I was filling the sink, not actually washing the dishes.)
Ken,
If my history applies, your phone is toast.
On another subject this will raise your spirits:

Thanks for the link Ephraim. It’s a fun video. Enjoyed it.
Yikes. Sorry about THAT.
I spilled a glass of water on the husband’s 3G when he’d first gotten it (when they first came out). He’s still not forgiven me for it.
And yes, we had to replace it.
Ugh!
Ken, you can speed up the drying process if you have some packets of silica gel (they often come when you buy electronics and shows), or you can try rice.
Alas, all these fancy new gizmos have water indicators built in, so if it’s not working they’ll make you pay to replace it (unless you’ve insured it).
Ephraim,
Great video. I can’t imagine how much they must have to practice those maneuvers. Talk about a cardio workout!
Saturday update: 72 hours, no change. R.I.P.
Ken,
I think:
0. Focus your site posts more narrowly.
a. Go back to NewMexiKen.com
b. Make your stuff have a longer lifetime, maybe as much as a week. I know that your stuff scrolls away before I can think about it.
c. You’re ‘GoodAt’ writing so others want to read it. Do that.
d. Maybe collect minor types of posts so that they have a longer lifetime.
