The answer to the trivia question about the winner of the 1920 Indianapolis 500 is Gaston Chevrolet. His brother Louis Chevrolet was the founder of the Chevrolet Motor Car Company in 1909. Louis also ran at Indy, finishing 7th in 1919. Their brother Arthur was also a race driver. The brothers were Swiss.
Gaston Chevrolet was killed racing later in 1920 in California at age 27.
Louis Chevrolet had sold his share in his eponymous car company to partner Wiliiam C. Durant in 1915.
