SI.com ranks all 120 of the Football Bowl Subdivision schools.
It looks like a very long autumn in New Mexico (UNM #111 and NMSU #118). The Quad Blog has them #106 and #118.

Whoo hoo! We’re number 118! Go Aggies! I’m so proud!
*sigh*
I’m sorry, I must have missed a memo. Is New Mexico a state now?
Pretty rash talk from a guy in Rick Pitino’s fair city.
Sadly however, I do see that my very own alma mater is the lowest ranked Pac 10 team not in the state of Washington.
On the Rick Pitino thing: Rick’s Big Moment took place at Porcini, which is one of our favorite restaurants. In fact, according to the description, the incident — consenting or otherwise — took place at a table where we’ve had dinner. It’s in the back of the bar area away from the see-and-be-seen section up front where people like Mrs. A and I don’t ever get seated.
While I don’t generally, consider consensual sex in restaurants to be what Pitino’s contract calls “moral depravity,” it’s still kind of tacky. It’s especially tacky when the coach requires an assistant to wait within earshot as the coach takes his sweaty and reportedly brief pleasure.
I’m not sure I’m going to be able to get Mrs. A to go back to Porcini any time soon — at least until they change the upholstery in the booths. But I’ve got to tell you: the risotto there is really something special. Good list, too.
All of that said, MRs. A and I graduated from the University of Iowa, ranked number 24. Yeah, I don’t believe it either.
See you in the MagicJack St. Petersburg Bowl.
