Mind-boggling, isn’t it? Especially when you consider how much he was earning even when he was just lying around the house, watching cartoons and diddling little boys.
Royalties on the Beatles catalog alone were earning him a couple hundred thousand times what any human needs to get by.
And yet he died a half-billion in debt.
