Do you think Disney is undermining our American sense of democracy with its emphasis on princesses?

Get line, Ken!
But what hasn’t Disney ravaged?
Already made a mash of history.
Completely misinformed the public on nature, remember the lemming (That should be a bumper sticker)
This is a ludicrous argument. If movies have such a huge effect on US culture, then Adam Sandler has made us losers.
So tell me Old Bogus
DO lemmings migrate, and in response to periodic environmental pressures unknown to man – do they commit mass suicides by throwing themselves into the sea?
Don’t look it up, what does your “common consciousness” tell you?
And I’d have blamed Will Farrell ; )
No, but they have done long-term harm to our cultural heritage by making copyright an (almost) endless license.
Jim Carey. I blame Jim Carey for making us losers.
I am unsure why the lemming question was tossed at me but I assume it has something to do with Disney movies. I have never bought the “lemmings to the sea” theory except when I read about 100 car pileups on freeways! Whether they migrate or not, I have no idea. Or care.
Um, your childhood was apparently devoid of the naturalist period of Disney.
I was taking your comment seriously.
A Disney producer came out years ago, after producing the “documentary” on lemmings in which they filmed the periodic lemming rush to the sea. Problem was they were on a tight schedule and couldn’t actually wait for the lemming migration trigger.
So they rounded up a bunch of lemmings, fired up the cameras, and started pushing lemmings off the cliff for posterity.
‘cept it turns out it was a myth, and lemmings don’t actually throw themselves into the sea. Ever.
But we raised an entire generation (or two) that “know” lemmings mindlessly congregate for mass suicide.
Hence the expression.
Whether ya care or not
