  1. A jackass question. It’s purpose confuses me, not sure what his intention was in throwing it out there.

    While we never actually knew where oil came from, recent speculation has that perhaps it is a natural geologic process and that some oil fields will refill.

    Or maybe he wanted to point out that the Alaskan fields didn’t start in Alaska?

  2. I believe Barton was attempting to say that climate change happens. See, there were once swampy landscapes at the North Pole.

  3. Especially true if you spread out your timescale – like to when the Arctic was adjacent to Europe and clustered at the equator.
