Alison Krause, unfairly mostly from the “bluegrass” category. Can someone please tell me the difference between bluegrass and country? The Grammy Awards were well done last night, by the way.

Yeah, the Grammys proved their relevance once again. They followed last year’s Album of the Year award to Herbie Hancock by this year giving it to Robert Plant and Allison Kraus.
I mean, she has a gorgeous voice. But shouldn’t the album of the year kind of be one that people bought, or at least heard of? Or maybe one which doesn’t feature artists who aren’t decades past their prime?
Love Alison Krauss. Didn’t think much of the album with Robert Plant. My favorite Alison Krauss & Union Station album: Lonely Runs Both Ways.
