The Washington Monthly solicited suggestions from a number of prominent people on What Obama Should Read. It’s an interesting and varied and suggestive text.

After reading the recomendations, I have to wonder how many of those books Mr. Obama has already read. Surely, Obama has read Howard Zinn’s A People’s History of the United States several times.
