I must remind you again that at times like these, the channel to watch is C-Span, which, for example, carried the inaugural parade in full without interruption — AND WITHOUT ANY SELF-IMPORTANT GASBAGS YAMMERING. The units were even identified on screen.

C-SPAN is the best, although i found CNN to be the least offensive this AM. Al Roker was funny for a while as well.

I wish that I had been reminded of that earlier in the day. The constant chatter gets pretty annoying.
I don’t have any TV choices except what comes in on my antenna, and the best reception (without any “noise”) is with ABC or FOX. That was an obvious no-brainer, so I put up with the ABC anchors all day. I wish they wouldn’t talk when things are going on!
But I was so happy to see this day, so moved by what I witnessed, I didn’t care. Now the talking heads are saying it was a “good” speech, but not a “great” one, yada, yada, yada. What a bunch of crap. He has never been a speaker of sound bites and empty promises. That’s why we elected him. He spoke to the core of who we are and what we need to do. Plain and simple, although there was nothing plain or simple about his eloquence.
