According to at least one report, after just four days, 19.4% of New Mexico’s REGISTERED voters have ALREADY voted.
As for NewMexiKen, as soon as I make up my mind about the presidential contest I’ll probably go vote early too.

But wait! There’s more!
The story was updated.
Yours truly questioned the 230,000 vote number, which came from USA Today. Based on my extrapolation, I estimated only 65,000 New Mexicans had early voted (actual figure 61,000), so the rest had to be absentee — and were they counting absentee requests or actual ballots cast. Turns out, it was requests.
Anyway, it was all just a hook for saying I was trying to figure out who I was voting for so I could go vote early myself.
Yours truly, however has actually voted. My ballot arrived in the mail Saturday. I filled it out and took it to the ballot box at the library around the corner the same day.
you’re kidding – of course – about the choice.
I get it! As soon as you make up your mind whether you are voting for the future and your “Sweeties” (HOPE) or against having another bubblehead for president/vice president (CHANGE).
We know you and every other thinking American who really cares about America already decided on Obama.
