NewMexiKen has a new iPhone today. I’m not getting many bars from AT&T here at Casa NewMexiKen and I find the phone volume inadequate. It’s a strain to hear even at top volume.
Any ideas?
It is, of course, otherwise awesome, but those are pretty big issues.
Low volume on the iphone is a common problem.
Apple has solved the problem with a software patch. See http://limitededitioniphone.com/low-volume-on-your-iphone-steps-to-fix/.
I suggest you let apple fix it.
It may be operator unfamiliarity, though it has been a problem in the first generation of iPhones. I might have found the solution.
It’s a very cool toy.
I can only offer advice if you find it wholly inadequate: sell it to some young technophile in a region of the country with really great 3G coverage – say, the Washington D.C. metro area, perhaps.
I hope it works out for you!
