“This is the second sighting in just two days in the community, and it’s near the Sandia Heights area where officers set a trap after a bear was on one man’s property last week.”
That would be NewMexiKen’s neighborhood.

be on the evening news!
Anyway, the last time I saw a bear in the wild was half-way up the La Luz trail. The Sandias are probably filled to their carrying capacity with them, so the young ones get pushed out of the mountains by the grownups who don’t really want so share.
