Firefox 3 is out for all platforms. According to reports there have been more than 7 million downloads in 24 hours.
I’ve been using the Mac version of Firefox 3 for a couple of weeks — rather than Safari. I like it.

I account for four of those downloads: on my PC here at work, my PC at home, and two on my Macbook – one on the Mac partition and another on the Windows one.
I use too many Firefox plugins to switch over to Safari:
*Piclens
*Better Gmail
*Foxmarks
*Google Notebook
And a bunch for Flickr.
I’ve been using it as well. It was well worth the download. I really, really like the searching of your history when you type into the url toolbar.
