NewMexiKen received an email this morning from a company offering Barack Obama Bumper Stickers! Normally this would be no big deal — in fact I delete email messages like that fairly often.
But I liked their idea of 50 different bumper stickers for 50 different states.
According to the email I received: “22 percent of the proceeds from each sale benefits the Obama Campaign, and we’re offering both full-size ‘bumper-stickers’ and six-packs of mini ‘laptop stickers’.”
Some of those are pretty cool. All are original and creative. But, someone should tell them that Mount Rushmore is in SOUTH Dakota, not North Dakota!!
I let them know Debby. (I missed that when I looked.)
The company also asked for suggestions for other states or improvements on existing stickers, so all eight of my readers are invited to be creative.
They already fixed it (although now they need some help with alphabetizing).
I like Nevada.
They also need to take another look at the Ohio design. The buckeye plant has five jagged leaves. There is another plant of notoriety that has seven, as in the Ohio design, which could arouse some unsavory attention. (Otherwise, the two plants do look a lot alike.)

The state bumper stickers made it all the way from puny little NewMexiKen to big time Hullabaloo by Thursday. And to think where they’d have been without Debby’s quality control. You got them ready for prime time, Debby!
