Yeah, this is great. They put that moratorium on the gas tax for a few months before the election. The Oil companies raise the price of gas 10 cents in the meanwhile thinking we’ll all be delighted to pay 8 cents less for a gallon of gas.
They rake in the extra profits and the federal government cheats itself out of millions in needed revenue.
I’d way rather have the money go to Exxon than to fixing highways and bridges. Wouldn’t you?
