It drives me nuts that that all say, “I am __ __, and I approve this message.” Isn’t it pretty redundant if they are actually on camera the entire time? Obviously they approve it, or they wouldn’t be sitting in front of the camera saying it. It might make sense if they didn’t actually appear in the ad . . . .
In general, I just wish all the politicians would get rid of the spin doctors and media specialists who dictate their every word and action. Their sound bites never ring true, and they come across as totally insincere and rehearsed. Not to mention that there is rarely any true substance at the heart of it.
