It has been snowing fairly hard and fairly consistently at Casa NewMexiKen since 7:30 this morning, yet there is no accumulation on the pavement.
Beauty without the inconvenience.
Simply put, Albuquerque has the best four-season climate in the U.S.
Update: At 1PM it’s snowing and the sun is out. I’m thinking someone is making soap snowflakes around here like at Disneyland.

:::Update:::
It is now 3:00PM, just got home from work, turned on the ‘puter, and checked my bloglines.
Figurin’ Ol’ NewMexiKen is home an it’s snowin’ ’cause I see he’s got 20 posts. 🙂
It is not currently snowing but has been all day, on and off.
I was so busy slingin’ caramel macchiatto’s this morning that I didn’t even know it was snowing!
The drive home sure was spectacular… the sun was shining, the mountains are sugar-kissed, the mesa was dark and ominous looking, and I could see the snow blowing to the north.
It is a wonderful day to live in New Mexico and a fine, fine day in Albuquerque.
Glad to see you are enjoying it and keeping yourself busy.
Here’s hopin’ your fire is burning bright.
🙂
My routine today:
1. Order a Christmas gift online
2. Blog something
3. Order a Christmas gift online
4. Blog something
5. Look at snow
Repeat
I would say “Rinse and Repeat” but in this cold, cold weather, you would “Rinse, Freeze, and Keel Over.”
🙂
