NewMexiKen finds HispanicBusiness.com’s headline (which is the post title here) interesting. Shouldn’t the top 10 “best” law schools for Hispanics parallel the top 10 best law schools period?

  1. Well, you could have a law school that has such a hostile and unsupportive environment that it is not a good place to go for Latinos even if it is generally considered good.

My law school had a pretty large Latino population by law school standards but a generally hostile administration — they were carrying water for Pete Wilson in the years right before California’s affirmative action ban — and it definitely downgraded the experience.
