  3. For those not in the know, as NewMexiKen himself wasn’t earlier, the ad is a play on the ending of The Sopranos. Here’s Virginia Heffernan’s take:

    Um, I’m dying?

    Did Hillary Clinton really rip off the “Sopranos” ending, and put Bill in her parody, and use carrot sticks for onion rings, all the while preserving the presence of shady characters who might want to murder her, and in general suggesting that she is above all a mob boss?

    What the what the what the what the.

    Please, somebody, explain why this is funny or bright.

    (Bill’s hammy performance works, at least. And I like his sunburnt retiree look.)

    I can’t tell what’s going on here. My mind is blown.
