you must be in outstanding shape to hike at that altitude. i remember hitchhiking into grand junction from the flatlands and going out dancing that same night and was soon winded even at that modest elevation.
You’re kind but it was a stroll more than a hike, I did get winded at first, and I do live at 6,000 so I have some advantage.
But, bottom line, I was reminded I don’t get enough exercise.
