Absolutely: I used to think Nixon was as bad as it could get until Shrub and his vile cohorts took power. I do think Nixon went a little batty toward the end of his time in office, and he too surrounded himself with bad people, but seeing him speak or interviewed years later, you realized he was a very sharp guy, and he handled his exile – dare I say it? – nobly.
