In case you missed it, Boise State’s Ian Johnson scored the winning two-point conversion in OT, threw the ball into the stands, celebrated with his 56 family members present, and — on his knee — proposed marriage to his cheerleader girlfriend live during the post-game interview.

She accepted.

  1. One of the most improbable and spectacular endings to a college football game I’ve ever had the pleasure to witness! Broncos coach Chris Petersen made some pretty gutsy calls.

  2. That may have been the best football game I ever saw. My favorite play was the two-point conversion, set up weeks before when they ran a gimmicky flanker screen out of the same formation.

    How good was that?
