On a scale of one to ten, Saddam Hussein’s execution doesn’t rate a number with NewMexiKen.
3,000 American soldiers for this?

It was enough to hear that he was executed but now I have to watch it? No thanks.
Now, if it was GWB’s impeachment… I’d watch that, maybe.
I’d love to see him getting on a plane, waving the victory sign, as he leaves office due to his early resignation ala Nixon. He can head back to the ranch and deal with “ternaders” the old fashioned way; by sticking his head in the sand.
pffftt…
I’m really tired of all of this sensational media stuff.
How about you?
I don’t watch TV. No, really. I don’t have cable (since January). I get the local stations (in high def) so I watch sports and occasionally a show like “The Office” or (blush) “Grey’s Anatomy.”
I’ve cut way back on issues and politics blogs, too, since the election. I still get the feeds, but the “mark all as read” button comes into play ever more often.
So, I was tired of “all this sensational media stuff,” but I’m not anymore. 😉
NO CABLE!!?? Why, that’s downright un-American!
Good for you!
I couldn’t live if not for SpongeBob. Especially today as we keep accumulating snow. The boys, ages 10,9, and 6 are very restless.
Thank God for SpongeBob!
We recently cut back our cable to just the basics at $19.95 a month from Comcast. It’s the lowest rate plan they have and I was very worried we wouldn’t be able to find TV to entertain our daughter. I find, though, that the shows on PBS have become very popular with her and she hasn’t even noticed the change. And, I LOVE the new bill.
When I first moved to Denver, I had a $13.94/month cable package. It got me 26 channels, including Bravo, CNN and some other cable channel I liked (FoodTv maybe?). I was impressed by that. Of course, now we have the DVR service and I’m sure we’ll never have $14 cable again.
