Albuquerque is expecting fall’s first official temperature in the 30s tonight.
I guess I’m going to have to light the Casa NewMexiKen furnace. Darn, I just love those no cooling, no heat utility bills these past several weeks.

First real snow of the season here at the mile-high mark.
And I still have to wash my winter jackets.
Can we say “brrrr”?
And me thinking about buying a convertible/roadster this week.
In my defense, this is the time when one gets ’em cheap, but the one I want won’t be in until the 31st. So I’ll have how many topless days in my new car (assuming I go for it)? One? Two if I pray real hard?
Re: utility bills. My elec bill last month was $23.70. I haven’t seen an elec bill that low since the 70s, I don’t think. Heh.
30s still in the forecast for this week, but false alarm last night. I doubt it got below 45°. No heat yet.
Lots of sunny top down days in an Albuquerque winter.
I can only wish that my electric bill could be that low. My bill last month was $375.00 and mine was low compared to a lot of other people I talked with. This is in Texas where for the past three months we have enjoyed a hellish blast of heat. I just received my current electric bill and it was still high $199. Although we have been told that we will have a mild winter and our gas bills will be lower. Just in time for elections. Whoopee.
NewMexiKen’s gas and electric bill has averaged $49 a month during July, August and September, but I turned on the heat last night when the outside temperature reached 40°. 35° was the official low.
