The Mossberg Solution tries out the new Nike + iPod Nano Sport Kit and likes it — a lot, though with a couple reservations.
Also, iLounge has updated its Free iPod Book to version 2.2 to include the Sport Kit. There appears to be a lot of good information (and lots of ads) in this .pdf file. The book is over 100 pages of all things iPod and iTunes.
I got the Sport Kit last week and tried it out for the first time over the weekend. It was easy to install and has a ton of very cool features. Only problem: I stuck the sensor into my Adidas runnng shoes (I don’t have the Nike shoes that have a special pocket for it), and it didn’t register my pace or distance accurately. It was off by miles. So, this weekend I’m going to try to velcro it to a part of my shoe. I’ll report back…
NewMexiKen read somewhere that the little pocket you can buy to carry your house key in your shoe works with the Sport Kit.
