NewMexiKen used 16% less natural gas this November than I did in November a year ago. Even so, my bill is 28% higher this year.
Which means, when one does the math, that the price has gone up 48%.

i get 52%. nit-picking, excuse me and all.
I used 96.58 therms last year for $98.11, and 83.22 therms this year for $125.61. (All this info is online at my utility company.) So I paid $1.0158 per therm in 2004 and $1.5094 this year. That’s 48.6% (I rounded off before.)
