  1. Flags on land can be flown at half STAFF; flags on masts, can be flown at half mast. Possible exception would be if the local eccentric has a mast in his front yard.

  2. As Pat Paulsen used to say “Picky, picky, picky.” Someone else used to say that God is in the details. Others say, the Devil is in the details. Whichever, its good to pay attention to the details now and then, before the Big One comes to your town e.g. Katrina, Mt. St. Helens, or pick your disaster.

  3. When is the flag to go back up. There is a lot of talk that it is half-mast for the Katrina victims, any truth to that? They also said it was supposed to be down until the 28th. Please give me the correct info. Thanks.
