I would file this under the “Meaningless coincidence” post but that option is unavailable.
But there’s another interesting point that may not be all that coincidental.
Ever since the Nixon-Kennedy race the taller candidate has won every time.
I heard some talking head the other night suggest that the Republican’s insistence that the podiums be set up side by side will work against them as many voters will have the image of Bush looking up at (to) Kerry burned into their brains.
I can only hope so.
True, Gore is taller than Bush. Also true, Gore won that election, but sadly, had no Supreme Court Justices in his pocket.
