Who’s your papi?

Don’t know about you but NewMexiKen is finding this baseball stuff kind of exciting.

  1. I’ve enjoyed baseball more the last several months than I have in decades. First it was Ichiro, then Bonds, then Pujols, now Beltran. Ortiz has pulled out a few good ones too.

I disagreed with your post about showing the fans at Fenway. I think it added greatly to the tension and sense of excitement. It really, really made me wish I were there in person. I loved the sign held up last night by one of the Fenway faithful that said “Make History or We’re History,” referring to the fact that in the entire history of major league baseball, no team has ever won a 7-game series after trailing three games to none, as were the Red Sox before early this morning when Ortiz blasted that 12th inning homer. Now it’s 3-2 Yankees.

I did, however, agree with your previous post about Tim McCarver. He is annoying. I like Joe Buck, though.

I wish Portland could have gotten the Expos instead of Washington D.C.
