Who’s buried in Grant’s tomb?

Union General and 18th President of the U.S., Ulysses S. Grant, and his wife, Julia Dent Grant. The General Grant National Memorial in New York City became part of the National Park Service on this date in 1958. General Grant died of throat cancer in 1885.
