Ralph tells us the Independent Panel Wanted Heads to Roll at the University of Colorado — “they expected firings.”
…on Friday [Coach] Barnett spoke to KKFN radio and said that he said ‘nothing had changed’ concerning his job and his responsibilities. The new policies just changed ‘who he reported to.’
Like Ralph, NewMexiKen doubts this story is over.
Perhaps they were following the examples set by the White House whenever they initiate any kind of investigation.
For example, whatever happened to the investigation into who leaked the info about the CIA agent, Valerie Plame, whose husband publicly criticised Bush. Has that just been completely dropped?
The trend nowdays is to cluck your tongue and say “What’s to be done about this Coach Barnett?” and then forget about it.
I doubt that attendence will be down at next season’s Buffalo games. And I’m sure TV networks will be just as tickled to broadcast their games, probably even more now than before.
