Half Wisdom • Half Whimsy • Half Wit
I don’t know how this will come across, but I thought you might enjoy this pic I took Tuesday on a tour in the Picketwire Canyonlands. It is of a church built in about the 1880-90s by people who came to southern Colorado as pioneers. There is a sign in the picture set that tells a little of the history. Our guide said the original owner sold the church and cemetery to the Denver Diocese for $1.
Cool. I’ve added Picketwire Canyonlands to my list of places to see.
It’s amazing. Largest site in the world of dino tracks too!
