Gasoline prices
Gasoline is running about $3.50 for regular to $3.75 for premium in northern Virginia where NewMexiKen is visiting The Sweeties®.
It looks to be about a nickel a gallon less across the board around home in Albuquerque.
How about near you?

Here’s to predicting gas prices will drop substantially a month or less before the election in November…
It’s happened before; it’ll happen again.

It seems to have jumped a dime a gallon in northern Virginia overnight. Hurry up with that 18 cent a gallon tax holiday.
And analysts say gas is about half now of what it will cost in two-to-three years.

$3.99 for 89 octane here in NYC yesterday, I think $3.81 for regular. Thank goodness it’s motorcycle weather again.

$3.48 in the NW corner of Nebraska. I guess there are a few tiny advantages to living in the middle of nowhere. Of course, if I had to go anywhere else, it’d cost extra in gas due to the distance, but I rarely do go more than the 10 miles to town.

$3.79 in Sunnyvale, CA yesterday, I didn’t check today. I’d bet before the election additions to the strategic petroleum reserve slow down. Some oil might even be released.
It may be my imagination but I think I am seeing more small old cars on the road.

$3.65 in Santa Fe. I make the commute into Abq everyday and I’m definitely beginning to see more small Yugo-type Fords and VW GTI’s on the road. It seems as though everyone that was willing to pick up a Prius has already done so. Roundtrip in my car is running about $17 a day now (at about 22mi/gal). The park n’ ride shuttle/railrunner from Bernalillo runs $9 roundtrip. The only problem - 600am departure time.

Way too much here in northern VA. Fortunately, my scooter gets close to 90 mpg. Still, it takes over $2.00 now to fill the tank.

The last time I bought gas the pump stopped at $100, before my tank was actually full. The time before that was $99 and the time before that was $98.
It’s about $3.60 for regular here in Portland.
