And women have more ribs than men, right?

GRANTSBURG, Wisconsin (AP) — School officials have revised the science curriculum to allow the teaching of creationism, prompting an outcry from more than 300 educators who urged that the decision be reversed.

Members of Grantsburg’s school board believed that a state law governing the teaching of evolution was too restrictive. The science curriculum “should not be totally inclusive of just one scientific theory,” said Joni Burgin, superintendent of the district of 1,000 students in northwest Wisconsin.

  1. Are they actually trying to say that creationism is another “scientific” theory? How do these morons get elected to school boards? (Oh, right, the same way presidents do… morons elect them.) Why don’t they just call a spade a spade and call it religion class? “OK, Students, here’s the opinion of science, and here’s religion’s version….” Not: “Here are two scientific theories to consider.” (Even the nun I had for 1st grade back in the early 60’s knew enough to make that distinction.) It’s just another way the Democrats missed the boat. They didn’t talk about getting religion out of government, where it doesn’t belong.
